Pavetta suffruticosa K.Schum., Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 28(1): 84 (1899)

Typus: A. Staudt 4 (in flower, 19 December 1894; B, S -G-4606^(JSTOR) [collected in 1896]; isotypus: LE 00017460^(JSTOR)).
Type locality: Kamerun[Cameroon]. Bei Lolodorf im Ngumbagebirge[Ngumba mountains], auf schattigen, humösen Stellen des Urwaldes.

Before reinstatement by Bremekamp (1939: 82), he had placed this name under P. tetramera (Hiern) Bremek. (1934: 134).
