- Diagnosis: Thallus saxatilis, fruticosus. Thallus horizontalis dissitus, laxe squamulosus, squamulae ad 0.1 mm diametro, albiogriseae. Pseudopodetia parva, ad, 1 mm longa, solida. Apothecia globosa, singula, 0.2–0.4 mm diametro. Columella absens,textura pseudopodetii solida. Cephalodia rara, sessilia. Nostoc continentia.
- Typification Details: CHINA, YUNNAN PROVINCE: Luquan Co., Jiaozixueshan Mt., 26o 05' N, 102o 08' E, alt. 3600 m, on exposed rocks, 2003, L.S. Wang 03-22641 (holotype: KUN ; isotype: Korean Lichen Research Institute, Sunchon National University).
