Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)
Diagnosis: Similis Polycocci pulvinati a quo praecipue differt ascosporis minoribus, 11-13 x 6-8 µm.
Type: MEXICO. Baja California Sur: 22.5 km WSW of Villa Constitución, 24o57'N, 111o51' W, on old beach ridge, c. 30 m, on Heterodermia erinacea, 18 Mar. 1976, T.H. Nash III 12840b (holotype in ASU).
