Typus: S. Kurz [1407] (lectotypus: K 000031768^(JSTOR), designated by Deb & Gangopadhyay 1989: 126; isolectotypus: CAL).
Type locality: Burma. In the drier hill forests of the Martaban hills east of Tounghoo[Taungoo], at 5,000 to 7,000 ft. elevation.
