Note: Harris (2017) point out the generic uncertainty in this family and Hassler (2021) follows Christenhusz et al. (2018) and subsumes all species into Staphylea s.l., whereas Govaerts et al. (2021) and Stevens (2021) take a more conservative approach as above. In addition, Christenhusz et al. (2018) did not transfer all combinations in Dalrympelea, as species or basionyms, which means they would become comb. ined., if their circumscription was to be used, as found in Hassler (2021).
