Tydeus momeni (El-Baghouri & Momen, 1988)
- Type locality: from soil with roots of wheat plants, Triticum spp. Gharbia region (Egypt).
- Holotype: ZMH - ♀.

- Orthotydeus longisetosus, original combination.
- Tydeus longisetosus, subsequent combination used by Kaźmierski (1998: 342), Khanjani & Ueckermann (2003: 5) and Khodayari et al. (2010)
- Tydeus momeni, replacement name proposed by Khanjani & Ueckermann (2003: 5)
