Etymology
Borrowed from Old Iranian *xšaθra-pā/ă- (literally “kingdom-protector”),[1] which is cognate with Old Persian 𐎧𐏁𐏂𐎱𐎠𐎺𐎠 (xšaçapāvā); see there for more.
