пиже

Erzya

Etymology

From Proto-Uralic *piša (bile, gall).[1][2] The word пиже (piže, green) can also be used to indicate the metal “copper”, which is probably due to the color of oxidation. This could be related to the Northern Sami word fiskat (yellow).
