աւագ
See also: Աւագ
Old Armenian
Etymology
The origin is uncertain.[1][2] Olsen derives from Iranian *ā-βaγa-, equating it with Sanskrit आभग (ā́-bhaga, “one who is to be honoured by a share”), the second part ultimately from Proto-Indo-Iranian *bʰagás.[3]
