- ʾištīw ḥamrā wəšabbáḥū lēlāhē dahăḇā wəḵaspā nəḥāšā p̄arzəlā ʾāʿā wəʾaḇnā.
- They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
- Babylonian Talmud, Tamid 26b:
