π°ππ°
Gothic
Etymology
From Proto-Germanic *arΓ΄, from Proto-Indo-European *hβΓ©rΕ. Cognate with Old English earn, Old High German aro, Old Norse Η«rn.
Declension
This noun followed a declension similar to π°π±π° (aba) in Proto-Germanic, so it is likely at least some of the forms had a stem *π°ππ½- (*arn-). Those forms are not attested, however; only the nominative plural is known with certainty.
