From the Portuguese words for "Road of Saint James", being a divine memento of the path Saint James traveled in Europe, a Church attempt to banish the pagan beliefs that the Milky Way as seen from earth was either milk from Hera's breast or the trace the sun god left while leading souls to the gods' dwelling.
