Etymology
Unclear. Historically the inhabitants of the Labëria region. Compare *Labeati [1], maybe ultimately related to words like lëbozë and lëpe. Alternatively, could also be metathesized form of *alban, possibly through a Slavic dialect (cf. arbën ~ Serbo-Croatian raban 'Albanian').
