CDC Contract Funding Allocations
In FY 2016, OFR processed 14,137 contract actions that totaled $6.3 billion. The table below shows how CDC contracts are allocated among CDC’s Centers, Institutes, and Offices (CIOs). The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) produced the highest number of contract actions; however, the majority of contract spending was through the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), primarily for the purchase of vaccines.
