This map of Upper Peninsula, Michigan, shows hospitals by local health department, to document hospital coverage by geographic area. Display hospital coverage in a state area challenged by patients’ lack of timely access to hospitals. For example, there is only one hospital in the area – Marquette General Health System – that offers cardiac catheterization and is a primary stroke care center.
