Influenza is a serious health threat, especially to vulnerable populations like people 65 and older and those living with certain chronic medical conditions receiving care in long-term care (LTC) facilities. As LTC providers and advocates, we want to take all necessary steps to protect our residents and staff during influenza season, including ensuring that all healthcare personnel in a facility are vaccinated against influenza.
