Continuing Education

CDC Laboratory Training is pleased to offer P.A.C.E.^® credit for most of our training courses. Additionally, we are an approved provider for Florida Credit for Laboratory Professionals and offer California credit through our association with P.A.C.E.^®.  Credit types available for each course will be clearly stated on each of the course announcements.

As a part of the CE approval of our courses, CDC Laboratory Training assures that each of our training courses are developed using best practices for instructional design.  Credit is offered to any individual who successfully completes all course requirements.

Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education (P.A.C.E. ^®)

P.A.C.E.^® is an administrative system established to stimulate and serve as the quality assurance mechanism for continuing education programs offered to clinical laboratory professionals by ASCLS constituent societies, laboratory industry, government agencies, hospitals and educational organizations. P.A.C.E. ^® approved programs are accepted by both the NCA and ASCP-BOR for recertification, and for license renewal in all licensure states except California and Florida.

Florida Laboratory Continuing Education

CDC Laboratory Training is an approved provider and will issue those individuals with a valid FL license number a certificate that meets the FL requirements. You will be asked to input your license number to print a FL certificate at the completion of an on-line activity and your participation in the activity will be entered into CE Broker using that same number.  This is not an automated process so please allow at least 45 days after course completion for your information to appear in CE Broker.

California Laboratory Continuing Education

Since January 2014, CDC Laboratory Training has worked in cooperation with the P.A.C.E.^® program to report your data to the California Licensure system. Please submit your P.A.C.E.^® certificate to verify your participation.
