What
This month’s Vital Signs report looks at sodium intake among U.S. children, as well as the major sources of sodium for children and teens. More than 90 percent of school-aged children, 6-18 years old, eat more sodium than recommended. Too much sodium puts young people at risk of developing high blood pressure and heart disease in later in life.
