Notice to Readers Chronic Disease in Minority Populations Report PublishedCDC has published Chronic Disease in Minority Populations, a national surveillance report on chronic disease indicators in blacks, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asians/Pacific Islanders, and Hispanics (1). The report is organized by racial/ethnic group and includes sex-specific data on demographics, life expectancy, mortality, morbidity, health-related quality of life, selected behavioral risk factors, and preventive health practices.
