In the article, "Outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Coronavirus Testing---United States,
2003," on page 301, an error occurred in the eighth sentence of the fifth paragraph of the editorial note. The sentence should read, "Enforced isolation in the United States is used primarily to restrict patients with pulmonary tuberculosis
who remain infectious but are unable or unwilling to remain in settings where they are less likely to transmit illness."
