In the MMWR Recommendations and Reports, "Treating Opportunistic Infections Among HIV-Infected Adults
and Adolescents," an error occurred on page 97 in Table 6. In the second column "Preferred therapy and duration" for
Cryptococcus neoformans meningitis, the first bulleted recommendation should read "Amphotericin B deoxycholate 0.7 mg/kg body
weight IV QD with or without flucytosine 25 mg/kg PO QID for 2 weeks (AI)."
