People who work in child care settings are at risk of getting the flu. The single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year. Everyone 6 months of age or older should get the flu vaccine every year. This fact sheet dispels some of the common misconceptions about the flu and the flu vaccine among people who work in child care settings.
