FIRE Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.
NO open flames.
Powder or carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION Finely dispersed particles form explosive mixtures in air.
Prevent deposition of dust; closed system, dust explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting.

EXPOSURE
PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST!

•INHALATION Cough. Dizziness. Headache. Laboured breathing. Nausea. Sore throat. Vomiting.
Local exhaust.
Fresh air, rest.
•SKIN Redness. Burning sensation. Pain. Blisters.
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
•EYES Causes watering of the eyes. Redness. Pain.
Safety goggles, or face shield.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION Burning sensation in the throat and chest.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

WHITE CRYSTALLINE POWDER , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
Reacts with strong bases or acids producing ammonia . The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic fumes including hydrogen chloride , hydrogen cyanide and nitrogen oxides . Reacts violently with strong oxidants causing fire and explosion hazard.

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly on spraying or when dispersed, especially if powdered.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
Causes watering of the eyes. The substance is severely irritating to the eyes , the skin and the respiratory tract The substance may cause effects on the lungs .

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization.
