Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is suggested. Do NOT take working clothes home. Fibre length varies with the source of the mineral. Experimental carcinogenity is associated with respirable fibres greater than 5 micrometers in length. Card has been partly updated in April 2005.
