Annie Burt (Acting)
Annie Burt began working at CDC in 1991 as an IT Specialist in the Information Resources Management Office serving as Project Officer on the Micro-Computer, Programming Services, Vault Storage, Mainframe, and Telecommunications contracts. Her earlier background in Procurement as a Contract Specialist served as an easy transition to managing CDC-wide, multi-billion, multi-award IT services contracts. Annie has served as COR and SME of the CDC-wide CISS, CITS, and CIMS programming services contracts. She held a key role in the planning, execution and award of these contracts. The award of the CIMS contract led to the creation of the Acquisition Program Management Office. She continues her dedication to providing technical oversight and customer service CDC wide in the areas of Information Management, Management Consulting and IT Infrastructure.
Annie received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management from Elizabeth City State University. She holds certifications in the procurement and project management fields including a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
