Funding Allocations
Please note the following resources have different parameters by which the funding data are chosen, framed, organized, and presented; therefore, the numbers and information may not be directly comparable. Read the “about the data” or “about the site” sections to further understand context around each data set.
CDC funding data and profiles
The CDC funding data and profiles site presents information about CDC funding provided to state and local health departments, universities, and other public and private agencies for a variety of public health programs.
Federal procurement data system
The Federal procurement data system provides information about contracts whose estimated value is $3,000 or more awarded government-wide for particular products or services, and whether these awards were made to vendors at specific socio-economic status levels (e.g., small business, service disabled veteran, etc.).
Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System
The Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) is a reporting tool developed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Grants and Acquisition Policy and Accountability (OGAPA). The TAGGS database is a central repository for grants awarded by the eleven HHS Operating Divisions and tracks obligated grant funds at the transaction level.
