تمديد مضلع
في الهندسة الرياضية، تمديد مضلع هي عملية إنشاء مضلع جديد (أو متعدد أوجه جديد في الفضاء الثلاثي البعد) وذلك عن طريق تمديد أضلاع المضلع (أو وجوه متعدد الأوجه) إلى أن تتقاطع مرة أخرى.[1] تكون الأشكال الجديدة الناتجة عن التمديد هي أشكال نجمية.
