1950 Currie Cup
The 1950 Currie Cup was the 23nd edition of the Currie Cup, the premier domestic rugby union competition in South Africa.

The tournament was won by Transvaal for the third time; they beat Western Province 22–11 in the final in Johannesburg.[1]

Transvaal and Northern Transvaal ended level on 14 points each after beating all seven teams in the B Section. As a result, Transvaal and Northern Transvaal played off, Transvaal winning 17–9.[2]
