Events

  • April 30 Sierra Poetry festival is organised in Nevada City, California. The theme for this year is "On the Wings of Words".[1]
  • June 10 A three-day international get together of poets and poetry translators titled Kolkata Poetry Confluence is organised in Kolkata, India by Antonym and Bhasha Sansad publishers.[2]
  • June 12 Queensland Poetry Festival kicks off with this year's theme "Emerge" with live performances by Lorna Munro and Ethan Enoch-Barlow. The program also has special sessions on the LGBTQ community.[3]
  • December 7 The End Poem is released into the public domain using a CC0 license dedication by its author, Julian Gough.[4]
