Pre-season and friendlies

On 16 June, Bournemouth announced two home friendlies, against Lorient and Atalanta.[37] A day later, two further friendlies were added along with a training camp in Marbella.[38] A fifth friendly was also added to the pre-season schedule, against Southampton.[39]
