This season is the first full-season without longtime goaltender and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jonathan Quick, who was traded on March 1, 2023, to the Columbus Blue Jackets;[2] the Blue Jackets traded Quick to the Vegas Golden Knights the following day.[3]
