2023–24 Sheffield Shield season

The 2023–24 Sheffield Shield season is the 122nd season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition being played in Australia. The tournament is scheduled to start in October 2023.[1] Western Australia are the defending champions.[2] In June 2023, Cricket Australia revealed the fixtures of the tournament.[1]
