Avandar

Avandar (Persian: اوندر)[3] is a village in Takab Rural District of Barrud District, Kuhsorkh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,572 in 393 households, when it was in the former Kuhsorkh District of Kashmar County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,274 people in 370 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 996 people in 326 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

Kuhsorkh District was separated from Kashmar County in 2018 to become Kuhsorkh County and divided into two districts and four rural districts, with Rivash as its capital and only city. Takab Rural District became a part of the newly formed Barrud District.[6]
