Barrud District
Barrud District (Persian: بخش بررود) is in Kuhsorkh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Tarq.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Kuhsorkh District of Kashmar County) was 10,456 in 2,893 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 8,804 people in 2,816 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 7,970 inhabitants in 2,661 households.[2]
Kuhsorkh District was separated from Kashmar County in 2018 to become Kuhsorkh County and divided into two districts and four rural districts, with Rivash as its capital and only city. Barrud District was established with two existing rural districts and no cities.[3]
