Tarq, Kuhsorkh

Tarq (Persian: طرق)[3] is a village in, and the capital of Barrud Rural District of Barrud District, Kuhsorkh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,803 in 541 households, when it was in the former Kuhsorkh District of Kashmar County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,791 people in 568 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,507 people in 572 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

Kuhsorkh District was separated from Kashmar County in 2018 to become Kuhsorkh County and divided into two districts and four rural districts, with Rivash as its capital and only city. Barrud Rural District became a part of the newly established Barrud District.[6]
