Banesh District

Banesh District (Persian: بخش بانش) is in Beyza County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Banesh.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Banesh Rural District of the former Beyza District of Sepidan County) was 9,718 in 2,214 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 9,422 people in 2,656 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 9,397 inhabitants in 2,698 households.[2]

In October 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Beyza County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each.[3]
