Valashahr

Valashahr (Persian: والاشهر), formerly Baladeh (بالاده), also Romanized as Vālāshāhr and Vālāshāhr,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Jereh and Baladeh District of Kazerun County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,936 in 856 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,243 people in 1,131 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,972 people in 1,689 households.[2]

In 2017, the name of the city was changed from Baladeh to Valashahr.[6]
