Kuhmareh Rural District

Kuhmareh Rural District (Persian: دهستان کوهمره)[3] is in Kuhmareh District of Kuhchenar County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Malay-e Anbar.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kuhmareh District of Kazerun County) was 9,356 in 2,136 households.[5] There were 8,641 inhabitants in 2,203 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,052 in 2,102 households. The largest of its 24 villages was Chekak, with 1,208 people.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhchenar County.[4]
