Kuhchenar County

Kuhchenar County (Persian: شهرستان کوه‌چنار) is in Fars province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the city of Qaemiyeh.

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as two rural districts and two cities of Kazerun County) was 43,850 in 9,490 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 45,004 people in 11,406 households.[4] At the 2016 census, there were 45,954 in 12,769 households.[5]

In 2018, Kuhmareh Rural District, Somghan Rural District, Nowdan, and Qaemiyeh were separated from Kazerun County in the establishment of Kuhchenar County.[6]
