Background and Battle
After being unsuccessful with Peshawar, Sayyid Ahmad Barelvi made a plan to take over Attock.[2] However, Khadi Khan of Hund who was a close ally of the Sayyid decided to betray the Mujahideen and told the plan to Hari Singh Nalwa, which infuriated the Sayyid.[3][4] Therefore, Hari Singh Nalwa marched with 20,000 men and managed to slay 75% of the Afghan force.[5][6] He escaped the battlefield by moving to the west of the Indus.[2]
Aftermath
After the treachery of Khadi Khan, the Sayyid defeated and killed him.[7]
