Borkhar-e Markazi Rural District

Borkhar-e Markazi Rural District (Persian: دهستان برخوار مركزی)[3] is in the Central District of Borkhar County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Mohsenabad.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Borkhar District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County) was 8,721 in 2,216 households.[5] There were 3,821 inhabitants in 1,140 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Borkhar County.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,271 in 1,318 households. The largest of its 23 villages was Mohsenabad, with 4,217 people.[2]
