Central District (Abbasabad County)
The Central District of Abbasabad County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان عباسآباد) is in Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Abbasabad.

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Abbasabad District of Tonekabon County) was 22,095 in 6,180 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 22,946 people in 7,047 households,[4] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Abbasabad County.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 25,436 inhabitants in 8,447 households.[2]
