The Central District of Bajestan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بجستان) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bajestan.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Bajestan District of Gonabad County) was 19,812 in 5,566 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 20,326 people in 6,251 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Bajestan County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 19,833 inhabitants in 6,442 households.[2]
