Central District (Bakharz County)

The Central District of Bakharz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان باخرز) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bakharz.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Bakharz District of Taybad County) was 22,931 in 5,301 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 34,442 people in 8,989 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Bakharz County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 35,954 inhabitants in 10,197 households.[2]
