Central District (Bakhtegan County)
The Central District of Bakhtegan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بختگان) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Abadeh Tashk.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Abadeh Tashk District of Neyriz County) was 18,913 in 4,807 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 21,841 people in 5,863 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 21,068 inhabitants in 6,669 households.[2]
In July 2018, the district was separated from the county to become Bakhtegan County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each.[3]
