Central District (Bashagard County)
The Central District of Bashagard County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بشاگرد) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sardasht.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Bashagard District of Jask County) was 10,250 in 2,335 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 15,041 people in 3,593 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Bashagard County.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 13,676 inhabitants in 3,623 households.[2]
