The Central District of Galikash County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان گالیکش) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Galikash.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Galikash District of Minudasht County) was 41,202 in 9,711 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 44,363 people in 12,068 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Galikash County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 42,457 inhabitants in 14,112 households.[2]
