Central District (Khafr County)

The Central District of Khafr County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان خفر) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bab Anar.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Khafr District of Jahrom County) was 28,694 in 7,253 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 28,191 people in 8,187 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 28,860 inhabitants in 9,167 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Khafr County.[3]
