Central District (Khoshab County)

The Central District of Khoshab County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان خوشاب) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Soltanabad.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Khoshab District of Sabzevar County) was 26,993 in 7,284 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 27,345 people in 8,081 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khoshab County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 27,169 inhabitants in 8,684 households.[2]

After the 2016 census, Now Deh-e Anqolab District was established, with the newly formed Now Deh-e Anqolab Rural District and Tabas Rural District as its subdivisions.[5]
