At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Andika District of Masjed Soleyman County) was 9,109 in 1,503 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 10,625 people in 2,018 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of the new Andika County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,945 inhabitants in 2,420 households.[2]
